Jan 20, 2020 · 2017 Difficulty turning Volt off. Just joined today. I have owned a 2017 Volt for about 18 months now and it has been a terrific vehicle with zero problems to date. I recently added the illuminated charging port accessory (GM) to my vehicle. It has made connecting the vehicle plug so much easier at night.

This is not a 12V battery issue. The picture shows right front bumper damage and the car's High Voltage charger is exposed (silver unit with orange HV wiring and coolant lines). It's likely it was damaged in the collision.
